November is Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month and we think that this condition doesn’t have the awareness that it should have, considering how many people are struggling with it on a daily basis.

That is why, in honor of Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month, we decided to give away our #HidroxaSE20 iontophoresis machine to one lucky winner. 

Hyperhidrosis impact on the quality of life

People suffering from hyperhidrosis experience excessive sweating in the armpits, palms of their hands, soles of the feet, and the face, to name a few places. It has a huge impact on the quality of life, and even prevent those who have it from carrying out everyday tasks. They frequently report frustrations or problems with things most people take for granted. Some of these are shaking hands, missing out on social gatherings, not being able to use their mobile phones, and other touch screens interfaces, or even wear the clothes they want. This can also lead to increased levels of stress and anxiety, as well as isolation and depression. 

We want to encourage more people to talk about hyperhidrosis in order to help normalize the condition. Therefore, raising awareness is the key if we want to make people feel comfortable enough to come forward to ask for help and advice. 

This is why we want you to share your story with us! Together we can use social media and change the life of present and future sufferers of this condition. We’re here to support each other.

The contest is open worldwide (to locations we ship to) and lasts until December 14, 2020, at 11:59 PM CEST. A winner will be selected by a panel of judges. The announcement of the winner will be on December 18, 2020, on our Instagram/Facebook profile. 

Your goal is to show us how much this condition affects the quality of your life while entries are welcome in all languages. To participate you must complete all the required steps. Make sure that your Instagram profile or Facebook post is public depending on where you plan to publish it, otherwise you will not enter the competition.

– Submit your hyperhidrosis story on Instagram and/or Facebook using hashtag #MyHyperhidrosisLifeStory and #HidroxaSE20 by December 14, 2020, as well as tag @hidroxa in your post. Make sure that your Instagram profile or Facebook post is public, otherwise, we will not be able to see your post and you will not participate in the contest

– Submit a photo/video of you, depicting your hyperhidrosis (hand, foot, armpits, etc.) or create one for this purpose. It’s up to you. Be creative
